WHERE ARE ALL OF YOU???

Easter is only a few days away and the only person who has told me what they like best about Easter and what it's all about are my cousins, Alyssa and Jeanine.  Am I to greet the Easter Bunny clueless?

  1. OK little one... I will tell you about Easter. Well, maybe I am not the one to tell you. You can ask your Mom's Mom why you might not want to ask me... all I can tell you is if you should see a big Easter Bunny that talks to you, you might want to check the shoes out... those big bunnies are ok. You don't have to be afraid of them they love you bunches. Have a good Easter and don't eat too many jelly beans. Love, Sue

  3. We love Easter at our house. It is a fun time to be together. The bunny comes while we are asleep and brings us candy and Uncle Robin gets peeps. He hides eggs with prizes inside for all of your new cousins Sydney, MacKenzie, Ryan, Colin, Joey, Alyssa and Lita. They come to our house and we eat lots of good food and save room for our lamb cake which we decorated. Aunt Bev

  4. Sweetie here is what you need to know about Easter - we wake up at our house to see if the Easter Bunny has left goodies for us.... and to see if he has eaten the carrots that we left. These days we are a little hesatant to leave carrots after Tank ate the reindeer snacks. So we start at the top of the stairs on an Easter Egg hunt - we rattle the eggs looking for clues most are just candy but some have clues to direct us to our Easter baskets. This year we had to go downstairs, feed Tank, whipe his face, and find our last clue in the fridge with the apples.... it said "Good job, look under the table for your baskets - you were good little boys and girls. Then we ripped in. We got movies, socks, jammies, Joey got special guy hair gel, an orange frisbee, and the small baseball collector hats. Alyssa got lip smackers (you will have these at your house soon enough), jammies with silky pants, a littlest petshop carry along, and a movie of course. They both got several doses of Candy Peeps, Jelly Beans, M&M Peanut (Sissys favorite) bubble Gum Tape, and small marshmallow bunnies. We went to see our families and enjoyed two wonderful meals. It is hard to get up and leave all our neat stuff but we were told that today was about family and no matter what the vBunny Brings family is more important. Non the less they called the bunny to say thank you for each and every thing. Holidays are tiring especially for a little one. But, I hope she had a great Easter surrounded by all the people who love her.

I will explain this from my kids point of view -

The Easter Bunny has a hard long day. I don't remember this running as a kid because all I wanted to do was see my cousins. I did not know how hard this was when I was single because I hadden't actually experienced it. And now that I am a parent I dread the holidays but, always ask my kids if they had fun and everytime they say "Yah can we do it again?" NO....not till Christmas!
